Pick N Place Robot | Fall 2020
In my Design and Manufacturing II course, I learned about robotics and built a four-bar linkage. I modeled the mechanism CAD in SolidWorks and kinematics in MSC ADAMS. I then programmed the mechanism as a state machine that could precisely sort disks into three designated zones. I used PID control and a color sensor to sort the disks quickly and efficiently under 20 seconds.
